What do you do to relax? For many of us there are only times when stress overcomes us and we are so busy that it's hard to find time. Our health, mind and attitude can suffer. So it's very important to take a few minutes a day to really help yourself relax.

Taking a few minutes a day to pamper yourself can save you years of health and suffering problems. It has been proven that stress-related diseases are on the rise and the best way to fight them is to look for stress relief every day. Here are some ways for you to make your day depressed and lead a healthier life.


  • Turn off all T.V., radio and sound and allow yourself to sit quietly while releasing your stress for the day. Meditation is a powerful source, but if you do not meditate then just a few minutes of silence helps you control your mind and help you release stress.
  • Play soothing music of your choice when you relax in a hot shower or take a shower. The heat of the shower or bath soothes the muscles and rejuvenates your body.
  • Tell yourself about the 5 things you really appreciate that day. Even in the worst days there are some things you can reflect on that can make you smile. Smiling is a natural stress reliever.
  • Laughter is a big part of releasing stress. The more you laugh the better your feelings are and that makes bad things not look so bad. Sometimes I really found some events on that day, a great way to find laughter.
  • Find sports that you like and can give you freedom. Endorphins are very high and help make you feel relaxed and better.


No matter your relaxation choices do the things you like. When you like to do something, you are more likely to obey it and enjoy it. Find ways to relieve your stress and lead a healthier lifestyle without anger, stress, and the ability to be stronger.
