Even when people reply to your thread claiming to be a doctor, you can never be positive that they really exist. On the other hand, if you go to a doctor, you know that the advice you get is worth following.
All in all, when it comes to men's health forums it's a mixed bag. There are many benefits, but if you don't know what you're up against, you can end up following bad advice. I suggest checking it if you have a question that is not too serious. For example, you can ask about which exercises can help you build your triceps the fastest but I would not suggest relying on a forum to tell you how to treat cancer.
